CA Final May 2026 Results Declared: 7,931 New Chartered Accountants Qualify Nationwide; Ahmedabad Center Records 13.70% Pass Percentage for Both Groups

AHMEDABAD: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the results of the CA Final examinations conducted in May 2026. Consequent to the declaration of these results, a total of 7,931 candidates across the country have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants. The latest examination cycle showcases competitive performance metrics across both national cohorts and regional centers, including Ahmedabad.

In the Ahmedabad center, a closer look at the May 2026 performance reveals that 664 students appeared for both groups, out of which 91 candidates cleared the exams, registering a pass percentage of 13.70%. For candidates appearing in individual groups at the center, Group One recorded a pass rate of 5.99% (51 passed out of 851), while Group Two registered a strong performance of 20.34%, with 96 out of 472 candidates clearing the papers. Notably, this marks a massive recovery for Ahmedabad’s Group Two candidates compared to the January 2026 exams, where the pass percentage had dropped to 4.43%.

On an All India level, 23,776 candidates appeared for both groups in the May 2026 term, with 3,345 students passing successfully to yield a national pass percentage of 14.07%. Meanwhile, the All India pass percentage for Group One stood at 12.00% (6,555 passed out of 54,606), and Group Two achieved a 20.49% success rate (8,725 passed out of 42,573). This reflects a steady momentum when compared to the preceding January 2026 term, which saw an All India pass percentage of 10.97% for both groups, and the September 2025 term, which stood at 16.23%.
